We make fresh PIADA dough every morning on site.
We cook our PIADAS on Italian earthenware griddles as it has been done for over 500 years by the Romagnoli people!
Sara Valeri, owner and chef of “Piada Mania”, was born and raised in the Romagna region of northern Italy, where the PIADA flatbread has its roots.
Her father was a baker and from a young age Sara helped in the family’s Piada business.
These fond memories caused her to crave this delightful flatbread and spurred her on to make her own and bring this iconic piece of Italy to her new community in Sarasota, Florida.
Sara is happy to share her roots and love for healthy, fresh and tasty traditional Italian food.
